WHO WE ARE
The Ethnic Studies Network of Texas (ESNTX) is a community of educators, students, parents, and organizers who have come together to expand and advocate for Ethnic Studies in Texas schools and communities. ESNTX works toward educational justice by working toward a public school system that serves rather than hinders equal opportunity.

VALUES & AIMS
The Ethnic Studies Network of Texas aims to strengthen collaborations between American Indian, Native American, and Indigenous, African American and African Diaspora, Asian American and Pacific Islander, Mexican American, Chicanx, and Latinx, Middle Eastern, North African, Arab American, and other intersectional studies, including Gender and Sexuality Studies, for the purpose of promoting Ethnic Studies as a culturally and socially relevant curriculum for grades PreK-16 in the state of Texas.
WHAT WE DO
With members throughout Texas, ESNTX collaborates with parents, students, and community partners to develop Ethnic Studies courses, support the development of Ethnic Studies teachers, expand the adoption of Ethnic Studies courses at the district-level, and provide multiple spaces for community groups and stakeholders to envision and implement emancipatory, rehumanizing education in both the public school system and the larger community.
