
WHO WE ARE
The Ethnic Studies Network of Texas is a community of educators, students, parents, and organizers who, since 2018, have come together to expand and advocate for Ethnic Studies in Texas schools from Pre-K-16.
VALUES & AIMS
The aims of the Ethnic Studies Network of Texas is to strengthen collaborations between American Indian, Native American, and Indigenous, African American and African Diaspora, Asian American and Pacific Islander, Mexican American, Chicanx, and Latinx, Middle Eastern, North African, Arab American, and other intersectional studies, including Gender and Sexuality Studies, for the purpose of promoting Ethnic Studies as a culturally and socially relevant curriculum for grades PreK-16 in the state of Texas.


WHAT WE DO
The Ethnic Studies Network of Texas aims to achieve social justice by helping to create a public school system that serves rather than hinders equal opportunity. With over 800 members, ESNT collaborates with university personnel, district leaders, educators, and students to advocate for and implement emancipatory, rehumanizing education.
