AREAS OF FOCUS
The ESNTX currently has the following areas of focus and projects: advocacy, pedagogy, research, and community of care. As the needs of the organization and the Ethnic Studies movement evolve, working groups will also adapt and emerge to meet these needs.

ADVOCACY
Develop statewide policy and local implementation/mobilization strategies.
PEDAGOGY
Develop communities of learning and action, including state-wide convergences and more local or field-specific workshops.
RESEARCH
Develop research projects, memory projects, and publications.
COMMUNITY OF CARE
A space for current and new members as well as community partners to provide mutual aid and support as we all work through the challenges of engaging in the difficult process of social change.
